A team of researchers from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore has developed a new method to control cockroaches through electronic backpack-like devices. The new technology consists of flexible electronic sleeves made of gold and plastic that slip onto the cockroach’s antennae. The cockroach’s antennae remained undamaged and functional while wearing the sleeves, allowing it to navigate the course and receive instructions from the researchers via Bluetooth.
