In the past two weeks, we have witnessed a rise in antisemitism and a deep-seated hatred towards the Jewish people. This hatred, which transcends political disputes, has its roots in ancient and spiritual origins.
Hamas, a terrorist organization that controls the Palestinian territory of Gaza, recently launched a massive terrorist attack against Israel. Innocent Jewish citizens were brutally murdered, tortured, raped, kidnapped, and assaulted. This hatred of Jews is not a new phenomenon; it has been present for thousands of years. The Jewish people have faced persecution and extermination under various empires throughout history.
At the heart of this hatred is Iran, an Islamic republic ruled by its mullahs and Ayatolla Khamenei. Iran is known for being the largest sponsor of terror in the world and has been supporting groups like Hamas and Hizbollah. Ironically, Iran is also the epicenter of the fastest-growing church in the world, with Muslims converting to Christianity and becoming advocates for the Jewish people.
This ancient hatred towards Jews is not limited to the Middle East; it has also found a place in Western culture. There have been massive protests in major cities across Europe and America, calling for the extermination of Israel and the Jewish people. Politicians, professors, and businesses have shown support for this hatred, refusing to condemn the actions of Hamas and singling out Jewish students for shame.
Now is not the time to be indifferent; these events have global implications. According to biblical prophecy, all eyes will be focused on Israel and Jerusalem in the end times. We should be motivated to pray for and support Israel and the Jewish people. For those who are not part of the Christian faith, world history is reaching a tipping point, and events seem to be spiraling towards an apocalypse. However, there is hope in Jesus, who promises to return and bring peace.
In the face of this ancient scourge of antisemitism, we must stand strong and take action against hatred and discrimination towards the Jewish people.
